A major update on the prospective sale of Premier League giants Manchester United has been revealed late on Saturday night.
And the news will come as a major blow to the droves of Red Devils supporters desperate for the Glazer brothers to at long last sell up, and move on.
As per a report from the Daily Mail:
‘The Glazers are going to take Manchester United off the market, having failed to get close to their anticipated asking price.’
This is according to a source with close ties to the American family.
United’s owners, it is claimed, were left frustrated by a lack of serious bidders for the club, after making public their intention to listen to offers last November.
With neither party having even come close to meeting the alleged £10 billion quoted asking price, it is claimed that the Manchester giants will therefore be imminently taken off the market.
The Glazer brothers then intend to seek out buyers once more in 2025, when it is hoped that improved ‘financial and environmental factors’ will culminate in a more fruitful market.
