Arsenal legend Martin Keown has claimed Manchester City pair Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne could well be on ‘another level’ to Invincibles pair Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry after the duo starred in the win over the Gunners at the Etihad.
Haaland arrived in England from Borussia Dortmund last summer, and has taken the Premier League by storm. As it stands, the Norwegian striker has found the net 33 times in 29 Premier League games, as well as registering 7 assists.
He has also struck up a seemingly telepathic partnership with teammate De Bruyne, with the pair terrorising defences up and down the country.

The Belgian has assisted Haaland eight times this season, the best duo in the Premier League this season, while Haaland has also managed 7 assists including two for De Bruyne against the Premier League leaders Arsenal to help them into the box seat for their fifth Premier League title in six years.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, ex-Arsenal defender Keown, who appeared over 400 times for the Gunners and lifted three Premier League trophies, has claimed that the duo may now be the best that the Premier League have ever seen, overtaking his former teammates Henry and Bergkamp.
“I thought Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry was one hell of a partnership for Arsenal back in the day. But in Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, I think maybe it’s gone to another level”, the ex-England centre-back explained.
“And De Bruyne’s movement… I mean, wow.”
Though Thierry Henry is widely regarded as one of the best Premier League strikers of all time, should Haaland remain in the top flight for the next five years, he may well take on that baton.
