Another twist in the tale of England star Harry Kane could be set to unfold after reports suggest Spanish juggernaut Real Madrid is prepared to table a first offer for the iconic Tottenham striker.
Per Spanish outfit Cadena SER (relayed by Madrid Zone), Madrid is planning to levy an opening €80m (~£70m) for the 29-year-old striker, who is coming off another fantastic goalscoring performance in the English capital that saw him smash 30 goals in the Premier League while equalling his personal best back in 2017-18.
But uncertainties surrounding his future and the direction of the club as Spurs confirmed the hiring of Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, with Kane having just one year left on his term sheet in north London.

Kane is also the subject of serious interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United, with concerns remaining surrounding the possibility that he could walk on a free after next season to move to United, rather than allowing Spurs to receive a large sum to reinvest under new management.
It is likely that the first reported offer for Kane will be rebuffed by Daniel Levy, with Tottenham likely looking for somewhere in the region of at least £90m, which would afford Postecoglou a considerable chunk of financial muscle to bring in a new center-forward while also leveraging a portion of that fee to another area of need in the XI.
