Bernardo Silva has claimed that, when it comes to predatory instincts in front of goal, Haaland is second only to Cristiano Ronaldo as he dished out high praise on his new teammate.
The Norweigian striker, who only joined Manchester City in the summer, has taken the Premier League by the same storm that he raged through the Bundesliga and Champions League with. After just nine games, he is already on 15 goals for the season, and is scoring at almost 2 goals per 90 minutes, less than half of the best ever record currently held by Sergio Aguero.

Well on course to beat just about every goalscoring record in Premier League history, he looks unstoppable, and teammate Bernardo Silva has heaped more praise on the 23-year-old with his latest comparison to compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I was speaking with a few friends the other day and I said he is the only player who gets close to Cristiano in terms of knowing where the ball will land inside the box”, the City midfielder explained.
“He’s got that smell of knowing where it lands and he’s so quick and strong, which is not easy for the defenders.”
“Can he reach the same standards? Well, I’m playing with Erling so I hope so but the standards are so high.
“You never know what will happen in the future. Erling’s still very young, still got a lot to do but the mentality is there, so yes.”
Provided Haaland can remain fit, he will undoubtedly be one of the world greats in years to come, and arguably already is. With Kylian Mbappe to rival for the Ballon D’or, however, to win five may be a tough ask.
