Destiny Udogie (Udinese)
Udogie helped continue Udinese’s impressive start to the season, playing 90 minutes as they recorded a 3-1 win over Sassoulo, their fourth successive win in Serie A. It leaves them 4th in the Italian top flight, ahead of Inter Milan (who they face next), Roma and Juventus.
Joe Rodon (Stade Rennais)
Joe Rodon played 90 minutes as Stade Rennais cantered to a 5-0 win over Auxerre, with the 24 year old largely untroubled in a dominant display from his side.
Tanguy Ndombele (Napoli)
Ndombele played no part in Napoli’s impressive 4-1 win over Liverpool in their Champions League opener, and only lasted 45 minutes in their next game too, being taken off at halftime as Napoli left it late to snatch all three points against Spezia.
Alfie Whiteman (Degerfors)
Giovani Lo Celso (Villarreal)
Lo Celso played 90 minutes for Unai Emery’s side but could not prevent them from slipping to their first defeat of the season, falling 1-0 to Lo Celso’s former side Real Betis.
