Last night, reports from England claimed that Cristian Romero was set for a number of weeks out with a muscle injury.
The Tottenham Hotspur FC defender clashed with Marc Cucurella early in Sunday’s London derby in which the Spaniard stood on him.
But the latest news coming from Argentina and the player’s entourage is a lot more positive.
However, there does seem to be some conflict between the club, who say three to four weeks, and Romero’s side, who claim 10 days.
“Romero NO muscle injury”
Rectificación de información que surgió en Inglaterra:
Cuti Romero NO tiene lesión muscular. Fue un golpe producto de esta patada de Cucurella. Va a volver antes de lo esperado.

According to Argentine journalist Gastón Edul, Romero has not suffered a muscle injury.
The 24-year-old was dealt a slight knock following a collision with Cucurella.
Gastón Edul told TyC Sport:
“Cristian Romero will be back to Tottenham training normally from next Friday or Saturday.
“He will return to training in exactly 10 days.
“The injury is only a knock, this is what Romero’s entourage have told me.”
Antonio Conte is due to hold a press conference ahead of Wolves today and he will provide a further update.
