Championship outfit Huddersfield Town have, on Thursday, unveiled the latest installment on the club’s bench.

For those who may have missed it, the subject of the situation in the dugout has taken its place front and centre in the headlines at the John Smith’s Stadium over the course of the last week.

This comes after word was forthcoming that Neil Warnock, fresh off navigating the Terriers to safety last season, was set to depart on the back of the club’s midweek meeting with Stoke City.

The conversation, in turn, had since quickly shifted towards just who was set to come in in place of the veteran Englishman.

And, as alluded to above, on Thursday evening, precisely that has been announced.

As per an official statement across Huddersfield’s website and social media platforms:

‘Darren, 49, was the standout first choice following an extensive recruitment process led by Chief Executive Jake Edwards and Sporting Director Mark Cartwright.’

Former West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield Wednesday boss Moore will take charge of his first outing as Terriers boss next Monday, against Coventry City.
