20-year-old Nigerian starlet Gift Orban has revealed that he wouldn’t want to join Arsenal, and has named the three sides that he would rather move to, because he believes that the Gunners aren’t a seriously competitive football club.
Orban has enjoyed an impressive spell with Belgian side Gent this season, catching the eye of a wide range of Premier League clubs from Tottenham to Fulham. Still just 20-years-old, he has scored 9 times in 10 Jupiler Pro League appearances, as well as laying on two more goals for teammates.
He is firing them towards Europa League football next season too, with five goals in three play-off games helping his side top the play-off round as things stand, and looking in good stead to be back in Europe again come September.
His form included an incredible hat-trick against Cercle Brugge, grabbing three goals in their 4-0 win, which came in their most recent outing.

And understandably, rumours about his future have already begun spiralling despite having only joined Gent in January and being under contract until 2027. Quizzed on it, Orban fuelled those flames.
Asked what his dream for his career was, Orban explained that it was ‘Playing in a big league’, before adding that he wouldn’t just go anywhere.
Then he revealed that he wasn’t a fan of Arsenal because he feels as though the Gunners ‘don’t want to win titles’, with Mikel Arteta’s side on course to finish second in the Premier League this season.
“I don’t really like Arsenal that much – it’s like they don’t want to win titles. They play and sell players – that’s it. I want to go somewhere where they win prizes. At Real Madrid they don’t have time for tiki-taka, there they just grab titles”, he told the outlet.
Chelsea and Manchester United are thought to be among the frontrunners for his signature should he move this summer.
