The favourites for the World Cup are back in action for one final group game as Brazil meet with Cameroon as the five-time champions aim to top Group G without conceding a single goal just as Cameroon look to spring an upset.
Cameroon have a fighting chance to get out of Group G, but they are somewhat banking on a miracle. Firstly, they simply have to defeat Brazil and in doing so, they will need to stop a team that has scored three times and not let in anything so far. What’s more, Cameroon will also need to hope that Serbia defeat Switzerland to force them into second as their goals difference is one goal better right now.
Simply put, a win is a must for Cameroon, but it doesn’t look like a possibility after a great start from Brazil. Richarlison stole the show in the first game against Serbia with two goals, including a potential Goal of the Tournament winner. Against Switzerland, Casemiro snatched all three points with seven minutes to go with a great strike from inside the box, as Brazil restricted Switzerland to no shots on target throughout the 90 minutes.
Cameroon had one of the games of the tournament so far when they met with Serbia in the last game. The Serbians led 3-1 at one stage before a stunning 3-3 comeback that now gives them slight hope of being able to progress here.
