Inter Milan are eyeing up a move for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun after pulling the plug on a deal for Romelu Lukaku earlier in the week, it has been reported.
The Nerazzuri were thought to be closing in on a deal for Lukaku, who spent last season on loan with the San Siro outfit, and they had tabled two bids for the Belgian in an attempt to bring him back from Chelsea, to whom they sold him in 2021.
However, they have since pulled the plug on the deal after finding out that the 30-year-old had also been in contact with Serie A rivals Juventus over a potential switch, with the Old Lady ready to pay 40m euros for the striker should they lose Dusan Vlahovic amid reported interest from Paris Saint Germain.

Inter were furious at the development, and have ruled out returning for the Belgian, meaning that they have turned their attentions elsewhere in a bid to find a new man to lead the line next season.
Enter, Folarin Balogun. The young USMNT striker caught the eye on loan with Stade des Reims last season, finding the net 22 times and drawing suitors left right and centre.
Likely to leave Arsenal this summer, the Gunners have slapped a £50m price tag on his head, and Inter are set to enter negotiations for the attacker next week, it has been reported by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
