An insight into the plans of Premier League giants Manchester United for on-loan talent Amad Diallo has been provided on Thursday evening.
Amad, of course, was farmed out on loan once more last summer, making the move to the Championship to line out for Sunderland.
And his ensuing spell in England’s 2nd tier, after a shaky start, has since proven an altogether positive experience.
All told, across his 36 appearances to date, the Ivorian has directly contributed to a none-too-shabby 15 goals.
In fact, so impressive has Amad looked that, after what could prove to be his final home appearance at the Stadium of Light last weekend, the winger was provided with a rousing reception by way of the Sunderland faithful:

With Amad still just 20 years of age, such supporters were therefore no doubt holding out hope of the former Atalanta prodigy making the move back to the club next season.
This comes with Amad set to link back up with Manchester United, ahead of taking his place on the club’s pre-season tour of the United States:
“It would be great if we could say, ‘Let’s keep that story going.’ The kid, he would do it again. He is playing every week, he scores, the fans love him.”
“I think Manchester United are happy, but I think the next step is for them to take Amad on pre-season to America. That’s what I think is going to happen. Then they’ll see how he gets on.”
