Iconic Liverpool manager and beloved fan-favorite Jürgen Klopp once again has stated his full commitment to the Reds as the former Borussia Dortmund and 1. FSV Mainz 05 boss has been linked with future interest from the DFB surrounding the German national team.

The 56-year-old Stuttgart-born tactician has become ingrained in the very fabric of the historic English club across his eight years on Merseyside and has once again stated his intention to honor his contract at Anfield.

Via quotes sourced by football insider Fabrizio Romano, Klopp has made it abundantly clear that his loyalty to the club is unwavering and not up for interpretation.

“I am committed to loyalty to Liverpool. My heart is here in Liverpool. You can’t just cut out the last eight years. I signed a contract here and, as far as I can remember, I wasn’t drugged or tied up when I signed it… my clear decision”.

This comes in the wake of Klopp remaining a key long-term target of the DFB (Deutscher Fußball-Bund) despite former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann having recently been given the reigns after Hansi Flick became the first German manager in history to be sacked from the national team post.

But with Nagelsmann’s deal running only through Euro 2024 at the end of next summer, Germany is already considering long-term solutions when his term sheet comes to an end, with Klopp a natural desired target.
