Tottenham striker Harry Kane has admitted that the club have lost some of it’s core values in recent year, as the Lilywhites bounce from mess to mess this season.
Despite coming from two goals down to snatch a point at home to Manchester United in midweek, the Lilywhites don’t have a manager, their director of football has been forced to resign after being banned from footballing affairs and their owners are detested by their fans.
Almost certain to miss out on Champions League football for next season, they are on current form a longshot for any sort of European football with Aston Villa, Liverpool and Brighton all breathing down their necks.
Kane has been a sole shining light, netting 24 goals so far, second only to Erling Haaland in the goalscoring charts.

However, his future is unclear, and he aimed a jab at the club he has spent his career at ahead of their trip to Anfield.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he revealed that he thought the club had lost it’s way since Mauricio Pochettino departed, with neither Antonio Conte nor Jose Mourinho delivering the trophies that they were signed to do.
“We want to improve. That goes from the top right through the club”
Quizzed on his own future, he was coy about what may happen this summer, though he suggested that he would be a part of conversations at the end of the season.
“It was just to understand the situation and what can give us the best opportunity to finish the season in a strong way,”
“As a club, there’s been some stuff going on that if we want to improve we have to be open and honest about.
“Those conversations are probably more for toward the end of the season, as a leadership group, with the chairman and the coach.”
“It was just open and honest and we expressed how we felt and ultimately we are where we are now. We can’t talk too much and the only way we can show it is on the pitch and we have five games to do that”.
