Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has, on Friday, spoken out over Mohamed Salah’s future at the club.
This, of course, comes after wide-man Salah set tongues wagging across the Reds fanbase late last night.
After Manchester United’s victory over Chelsea brought an official end to Liverpool’s hopes of clinching a Champions League berth for next season, the club’s talismanic attacker was not shy in making his frustrations very much known.
Taking to his social media platforms, Salah ranted:
‘I’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed. We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down.’

In turn, it has since come as little surprise to see Salah’s Anfield future thrown into immediate doubt across the media.
Liverpool’s boss, though, was quick to shut down any and all speculation, in assuring that Salah ‘loves being here’:

“If ever a player would come to me and says, ‘We didn’t qualify for the CL, I have to leave’, I’d drive him to another club. It is not the case with Mo — not at all”. pic.twitter.com/4lKTjgzI3f
