Klopp is now in the 7th year of his Liverpool stint, having joined the club in October of 2015.
In previous roles, the wheels have began to fall off for the German, so to speak, in his 7th year at a club.
And not too surprisingly, we have seen signs of this in the 2022/23 campaign so far.
Liverpool were once again expected to challenge for the Premier League title this term, but they have been out of that race for months.
Liverpool have already conceded more goals and lost more games than they did in all of last season.
The Reds are also sitting 7th in the league and nine points off the top-four.
“I really think we are ready. If there is a club that can do it I really think it is us. Honestly. Because all the things we achieved these last years we achieved together, neither without the team nor without the crowd. Nothing,” he told reporters.
“We have a future together: the immediate future from tomorrow but there is a bigger picture as well. We will strike back in general but now we have to make sure that we squeeze everything out of this season that we can get.”
