2022/23 saw Trent Alexander-Arnold experience some of the worst form of his career.
The right-back was constantly caught out of position and Liverpool’s midfield issues exposed the Englishman’s weak defensive ability.
Basically every left winger in the Premier League got one over on Trent in the first half of the campaign.
However, he was moved into more of a midfield role by Jurgen Klopp at the back end of the season and this saw Trent’s performances improve a great deal.
And now, it looks as though the full-back is doing everything possible to continue that form into 2023/24.
The Times are reporting that the defender has been hiking up mountains and cycling at altitude after cutting short his summer break short in a bid to return to Liverpool in the best shape of his career.
