Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has, on Friday, been drawn on the possibility of Borussia Dortmund sensation making the move to the club in the near future.
The subject of midfielder Bellingham’s future, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines over the course of the last couple of weeks.
This comes as speculation surrounding his next landing spot continues to mount.
For some time now, the two leading candidates for Bellingham’s future have come in the form of Liverpool and Real Madrid.
Amid widespread claims that the former are ready to pull the plug on their pursuit owing to the massive price-tag on the head of the England international, though, European champions Real are now considered the clear frontrunners.
And yet, links with Premier League champions Manchester City, in the background, continue to tick over.
Speaking to the media on Friday, as alluded to above, Guardiola was therefore draw on the chances of City mounting a challenge for Bellingham’s future this summer.
The Spanish tactician, however, proved altogether dismissive of the subject, responding ‘no comment’, before urging the journalist in question to ‘prepare better’ questions.
