Jurgen Klopp is heading into his 9th campaign as manager of Liverpool.
The Reds will be hoping for a significant improvement upon last season in which they ended up 5th.
Following a slight drop off and an 8th year in charge at Anfield, question marks have been raised regarding whether Klopp may want a new challenge.
The 56-year-old has been linked with a move to the German national team and today, he was asked about just that…

Jurgen Klopp has shut down suggestions of leaving Liverpool for the German national team.
Klopp spoke about his commitment to the club, as whilst the national team job is of interest to him, his loyalties very much remain at Anfield.
“The problem that stands in the way of the whole thing is my loyalty.
“I can’t just leave Liverpool now and say I’ll take over Germany for a short time. That doesn’t work and the request isn’t even there.
“If I’m supposed to do that (manage Germany) at some point, then I have to be available and I’m not currently. I have a responsibility towards the club.
“Basically, it’s an interesting job. But I don’t know yet whether I’ll do something completely different after I leave Liverpool. I want to keep my options open.”
