Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has, on Friday, hinted that the club intend to continue their recruitment drive following the turn of the year.
The subject of signings, of course, has long taken its place front and centre in the headlines in west London.
This comes after new owner Todd Boehly followed up on big-money spending sprees in each of the previous two windows, with yet another this past summer.
All told, with a view to the new campaign, no fewer than 12 fresh faces were secured by the Chelsea brass.

To say that such endeavours on the transfer front have not yet converted to success on the pitch, though, would be something of an understatement.
In fact, owing to a record of just one win from six, the Blues currently find themselves in a lowly 14th in the Premier League table.
And Chelsea’s boss was not at all shy in confirming the club’s plan for as much, admitting that he personally is already hard at work in a bid to ‘identify what we need’:
“I am working to identify what we need for January on the transfer market,” Pochettino began. “I’m more involved in transfers, I’m on it.”
