A former coach of Manchester City sensation Julian Alvarez has, on Saturday, tipped the Argentine to make the move to Spain with Real Madrid at some point down the line.
The name of hitman Alvarez was of course cast into the spotlight in a major way over the course of the last month.
This comes after the up-and-coming attacker played a starring role in Argentina’s triumph at the World Cup.
Across appearances in all seven of the Albiceleste’s outings at the tournament, Alvarez notched four goals, including a brace en route to downing Croatia at the semi-final stage.
Such endeavours come after the 22-year-old also enjoyed a fine start to the season on the books of Premier League champions Man City, after linking up with Pep Guardiola’s troops during the summer.

Alvarez has taken to the rigours of European football like a duck to water, already looking like a potential Sky Blues icon in the making.
That’s if the comments of Alvarez’s former coach, Rafael Varas, are anything to go by.
Speaking to Spanish outlet Marca on Saturday, Varas revealed his take that ‘at any moment, he [Álvarez] can wear the Real Madrid shirt.’
