Chelsea are on the verge of announcing Mauricio Pochettino as their new Chelsea boss, with the Argentine having now signed his contract with the Blues.
The Blues have been without a permanent boss since the departure of Graham Potter in April, having only appointed him in September to replace Thomas Tuchel, who also saw the chopping block at the beginning of the campaign.
Frank Lampard has taken control for the last ten games on an interim basis, but has won just once during his time in charge, and faces a tough final-day clash with Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge, which will round off a difficult season.
However, Pochettino has long been expected to take charge, and the Argentine is set to become the new Chelsea boss at the beginning of next week, it has been confirmed, with the former Tottenham boss crossing London to sign for their rivals.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Poch has now signed his name on the dotted line to become the latest in the Stamford Bridge dugout, with the contract rather optimistically set to run until 2026.

His first job will be to sort out a Chelsea squad that has suffered its worst season in Premier League history and will have no European football to offer new players this next season, though free midweeks will allow Pochettino to implement his plans more clearly.
Meanwhile, all of Hakim Ziyech, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic, Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Kalidou Koulibaly are expected to leave.
