Another update on Manchester City’s interest in Borussia Dortmund and Norway star Erling Haaland has emerged this week.
101 have already covered reports recently that claimed Pep Guardiola and co. have a deal in place that would see a total outlay of £100m for the Haaland’s services in the summer. This would consist of his £64m release clause, as well as a significant signing on fee to both Haaland and agent Mino Raiola.
Now, an insight into the wages Haaland would receive at Manchester City has been provided.
The Daily Mail report that Manchester City are ready to make Erling Haaland the highest-paid player in England, should he join from Borussia Dortmund.
It is believed that salaries have already been discussed and Haaland would earn in excess of £500,000 a week at City, making him the league’s top earner.
Man City also believe that a decision could be made in a month’s time regarding Haaland’s future:

Haaland impressing
Should Haaland end up signing for Manchester City, the Sky Blues would no doubt go on to dominate most teams they face – including those sides they struggled to find that crucial goal against, such as Crystal Palace earlier in the week.
The 21-year-old is arguably already one of the top three centre-forwards in world football right now – along with Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski – and has a sensational goal return for BVB.
In 80 outings across all competitions for the German side, Haaland has scored 80 and assisted 21. He has also netted 12 in 15 for Norway.
