Supporters of Premier League giants Manchester United have taken to social media in numbers on Friday, to send a message to the powers that be at Old Trafford.
The subject of the Red Devils’ attentions? Marcel Sabitzer.
Midfielder Sabitzer was back in action a short time ago, featuring from the off in Austria’s Euro 2024 qualifying meeting with Azerbaijan.
And the 29-year-old, who made the move to Manchester on loan from German heavyweights Bayern Munich during the January transfer window, went on to play a starring role for his country.
En route to an eventual 4-1 Austria triumph, Sabitzer played a direct hand in three goals, bagging a brace, as well as an assist.
It was his 2nd goal of the night, though, which piqued particular intrigue on the part of the aforementioned United fanbase.
Wow, that was hot from Sabitzer! 🇦🇹🔴🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/HmMGSptPel

And, as alluded to above, so impressed were some of a Red Devils persuasion, that they have since taken to social media, to send a direct message to Erik ten Hag and the powers that be at Old Trafford.
As showcased below, late on Friday night, calls have begun to mount for Sabitzer, upon his return to England, to be rewarded with first-choice free-kick taker status in the Manchester United squad:
