Chelsea are targetting a new striker this summer, and have drawn up a list of three options should they be unable to land main striker Victor Osimhen before the new season.
The Blues have already added Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson to their ranks after meeting his side’s 35m euro release clause last month, but are expected to be on the hunt for another, more renowned striker before the transfer window closes on September 1st.
It had at one time been thought that Romelu Lukaku could return and mend his bridges at the Bridge under new boss Mauricio Pochettino, but that is looking increasingly unlikely as a move to Inter Milan continues to brew, with latest reports claiming that the sale of Andre Onana to Manchester United could finally help Chelsea be rid of the Belgian.

As a result, Chelsea have been forced to look elsewhere, and with Napoli star Victor Osimhen set to stay in Italy after helping them to their first Serie A title in 40 years and Tottenham’s Harry Kane a non-starter for several reasons, they have reportedly narrowed their search down to three.
According to FootballInsider, they have identified Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo-Muani, Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic and Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez as potential arrivals in west London to spearhead their new-look attack next season.
They add that Vlahovic is becoming the most plausible option, ‘due to his price tag of around £43million’, which is half of what Juventus paid for him 18 months ago.
