Arsenal decided to spend £65m on Kai Havertz during the 2023 summer transfer window.
The German had a dismal stint at Chelsea but the Blues were still able to recoup a large sum from the Gunners.
Whilst most were sceptical of the transfer, there were some who believed Havertz would shine in a deeper role.
However, Mikel Arteta started Havertz in a false-nine role for the Community Shield and much like for Chelsea when in that position, he was poor.
He has since been moved into more of a no.8 role for Arsenal’s first four league games of the season but his displays have not improved.
Now, Havertz has been discussing the criticism he has received for his showings with Arsenal.
“Of course, you want to be successful as quickly as possible, but I know that there are phases like that. I try to approach it in a relaxed manner.”
