An insight into the plans of the powers that be at Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur for coach Ryan Mason has been provided on Sunday.
The subject of Mason’s future, of course, has been cast back into the spotlight in north London over the course of the last week.
This comes after the Englishman’s feint hopes of having his interim status in the dugout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium made permanent were brought to a definitive end, upon the Lilywhites unveiling Ange Postecoglou as their new manager.
Mason is not short on outside suitors, with clubs from The Championship and across the continent understood to be interested in bringing the former Spurs midfielder in on a permanent basis.
If the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, though, then his future, for the time being at least, remains in England’s capital.
As per a report from The Athletic:
Mason and Postecoglou are understood to possess similar philosophies when it comes to the game, with the latter, as a result, happy to welcome an individual with in-depth experience of ongoings at Tottenham into his circle.
Ryan Mason is expected to stay at Tottenham Hotspur as a member of Ange Postecoglou’s coaching staff.
