Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has, on Saturday evening, sent a message to midfield partner Ilkay Gundogan, regarding the contract situation of the German international.
Gundogan’s name, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the English media headlines across the day to date.
This comes after the former Borussia Dortmund standout proved the star of the show, en route to City keeping hopes of a historic season treble alive.
En route to a 2-1 Manchester Derby downing of neighbours United, Gundogan bagged both of the Sky Blues’ goals, to guide his side to fresh glory in the FA Cup.

On the back of the full-time whistle at Wembley on Saturday, though, attentions have since quickly shifted away from Gundogan’s brilliance, and towards his future.
The 32-year-old, of course, is set to see his terms in Manchester expire at the end of the month, with both Arsenal and Barcelona keen to lure him away from The Etihad.
Speaking to the media amid City’s FA Cup title celebrations, the Belgian was drawn on the future of his midfield partner in crime.
And De Bruyne was unwavering in his response, insisting:
“He should sign now!”
