Mikel Arteta discussed a number of topics in his press conference, including team news.
And it is largely good news for the Gunners, with Reiss Nelson the only player who missed training this week: “Everybody has trained this week and everybody is fine apart from Reiss who you know has been injured for a few weeks now.”
Arteta also responded to a report from The Times earlier this week that claimed the north Londoners were being looked at by UEFA regarding FFP: “We are compliant and we have heard nothing so I don’t know what that is.”
On if FFP will impact transfers, the Spaniard added: “No I think the club has been very disciplined and with a very clear vision of how we want to do things. In that sense nothing changes.”
Arsenal vs Fulham
Arsenal head into the Fulham game as the in-form side of the season so far.
The Gunners are the only team to have a perfect record after three games of the season following their wins over Everton, Crystal Palace and Fulham.
However, Fulham in 2022/23 are looking much more impressive than they did during their last stint in the top-flight.
Marco Silva’s side started the season by drawing with Liverpool and Wolves whilst also picking up an impressive 3-2 win over Brentford.
