A number of sides have racked up over 30 wins in a single Premier League season.

The Premier League is loved by many for its seemingly competitive nature.

However, there are some campaigns when one team is simply too much for the rest of the pack.

And now, 101GreatGoals have taken a look at the sides with the most wins in a single Premier League season.

5= Manchester City, Chelsea & Manchester United (27)

Three teams were able to achieve 27 wins in a single season, with all three lifting the trophy in their respective campaigns.

Manchester United won 27 times in 2007/08, Manchester City did so in 2013/14 and Chelsea secured the title in 2009/10 with the same number.

4= Manchester United, Liverpool Manchester City (28)

Manchester City also won 28 times in 2011/12 to secure their first-ever Premier League title.

Liverpool won 28 games in 2021/22 but were unable to beat Pep Guardiola’s side to top spot.

3= Chelsea (x2) (29)

Chelsea’s first league title came in the 2004/05 season under Jose Mourinho. It will always be remembered for the Blues conceding a record-low 15 goals across the campaign, with their solid defence seeing them win 29 games.

Jose Mourinho’s men won the PL the following campaign and also won 29 times.

2= Chelsea & Liverpool (30)

Second place belongs to Chelsea. After a slow start under Antonio Conte, the Blues switched to a three-back formation and went on to dominate the division.

They won 30 games and secured 93 points on their way to the Premier League title.

Liverpool won 30 times in 2018/19 but lost out on the title to Manchester City.

1= Manchester City (x2) & Liverpool (32)

First place was achieved on three occasions to date, with Manchester City the first side to win 32 games in one campaign.

The Sky Blues broke the record for most points in a single campaign in 2017/18, securing 100 points whilst also winning 32 times.

Manchester City did the same in the following campaign, but this time only secured 98 points as they drew one more game than in 2018/19.

The final side to win 32 games in one Premier League campaign was Liverpool. The Reds’ only league title came in the 2019/20 season when they too won 32 matches. Manchester City finished second that season but were well off the pace of the Reds.
