Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, on Saturday, etched his name ever further into the club’s storied history books.

Salah, and Liverpool, were of course back in action earlier today.

Riding high on the back of a ruthless drubbing of Leeds United last time out, Jurgen Klopp’s troops welcomed relegation-battling Nottingham Forest to Anfield, for a Premier League clash.

And, when all was said and done, the Reds made it two wins on the spin, courtesy of a hard-fought 3-2 triumph.

Diogo Jota stood as the star of the show, notching a brace, but it was attacking partner in crime Salah’s intervention which ultimately proved decisive, in staving off a spirited Forest comeback.

As alluded to above, though, Salah’s latest strike did not only come as a crucial one in guiding Liverpool to another three-point haul.

Salah’s goal against Forest on Saturday marked his 183rd for the club across all competitions, guiding the former AS Roma standout into joint-sixth on the Reds’ list of all-time goalscorers.

Not only that, but he now sits just three goals adrift of club icon Steven Gerrard in fifth:
