Tottenham Hotspur coach Cristian Stellini has, on Thursday, provided an update on the wellbeing of attacker Richarlison.
Frontman Richarlison, of course, has spent the last couple of weeks on the sidelines.
Amid what has proven an altogether underwhelming debut campaign in north London, the Brazilian was forced off inside the opening five minutes of Spurs’ 3-3 Premier League stalemate with Southampton on March 18th.
Richarlison, in turn, went on to sit out both Brazil’s friendly defeat to Morocco, and Tottenham’s post-international break return to action at Everton earlier this week.
Speaking to the media ahead of his side’s showdown with high-flying Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend, Lilywhites interim head coach Cristian Stellini, as alluded to above, was asked for the latest on his sidelined attacker’s fitness.
And Stellini went on to reveal that, though the former Everton standout will not be available on Saturday, he could mark his return the following weekend, against Bournemouth.
‘We are getting closer with Richarlison. He trained on the pitch, but he trained alone.’
