Manchester City and one other English club are fighting it out with French giants Paris Saint Germain for Bradley Barcola this summer, it has been revealed, as the trio look to strengthen their frontline ahead of the new season.

The Olympique Lyonnais winger is one of the hottest prospects in world football and scored 5 times with 10 assists last season, though he could not stop his side missing out on European football for yet another season.

Typically fielded on the right side of attack, he is capable of playing on either flank and possesses excellent dribbling ability as well as plenty of hard work off the ball.

His form has caught the eye of plenty of clubs, with Paris Saint Germain thought to be leading the race for the 20-year-old. The French Champions have already seen a 30m euro bid turned down, and are expected to return with another offer despite being on the verge of signing compatriot Ousmane Dembele to play on the wing.

However, two English clubs are also thought to be keeping tabs on the situation, with Barcola under contract until 2026 and Lyon under no pressure to sell.

Manchester City are on the hunt for another attacker following the departure of Riyad Mahrez (Who joined Saudi side Al Ahli earlier in the summer), and are thought to be one of the sides keen on adding Barcola to their ranks should they be able to fight off the Parisian giants.
