A major update on the stance of the powers that be at Tottenham Hotspur when it comes to the potential appointment of Julian Nagelsmann has been provided late on Friday evening.
The name of German headmaster Nagelsmann, of course, has taken its place front and centre on the Lilywhite half of north London over the course of the last couple of weeks.
This comes owing to widespread claims that the 35-year-old, recently sent on his way by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, had been identified as the frontrunner to take his place in the dugout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of next season.
Spurs have been forced to reignite the club’s managerial pursuit with a view to the summer, after finally bringing an end to their tumultuous relationship with boss Antonio Conte late in March.
Links with Nagelsmann, meanwhile, have been widely welcomed by the Lilywhites faithful, with the German still widely considered to be one of the continent’s standout tacticians.

Such supporters, in turn, have not been at all shy in making their frustrations known, after it was tonight revealed that, contrary to all prior reports, Tottenham are in fact not interested in bringing in Nagelsmann.
‘Julian Nagelsmann is not being considered as a candidate for the vacant head coach post and the club insist they have not met with him and do not intend to.’

Spurs letting Pochettino join Chelsea and failing to capture Nagelsmann is a summary of where we are at as a football club. Clueless.

My head feels like it’s about to explode. Honestly the things this football club puts me through is not worth my time.
