Tottenham could ask for young striker Mathys Tel in part exchange for any deal letting Harry Kane join Bayern Munich this summer, it has been reported.
Harry Kane is Bayern’s no.1 target and they have already seen two bids turned down for this summer as Spurs hold out for £100m.
Kane is thought to be keen on the move, and has already begun house-hunting in Munich ahead of a potential switch, but Spurs are unwilling to let him leave on the cheap despite having just one year left on his contract.

All parties are keen to have a deal decided before the new season kicks off in a fortnight’s time, and ideally with Tottenham having enough time to have a replacement signed, meaning that a move could move quickly in the coming days.
Now, the Telegraph report that Tottenham will use the negotiations as an opportunity to enquire about Mathys Tel, who they have shown interest in already this summer.
They add that ‘Bayern’s current plan is to keep Tel and it remains to be seen whether they would be prepared to let him go, either on loan or permanently, to help clinch a deal for Kane.’
Tel only arrived in Bavaria last summer, scoring five times in the 22 Bundesliga appearances he was handed. However, the teenager is very highly rated and has previously drawn comparisons to compatriot Kylian Mbappe.
It remains to be seen whether Thomas Tuchel’s side would be willing to cash in on their future in order to secure Kane’s signature this summer, but any deal would likely reduce the fee for Kane significantly.
