Tottenham Hotspur FC management duo Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici are once again on the hunt for reinforcements for the senior setup at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after links emerged suggesting that Spurs are tracking 22-year-old Club Brugge KV winger Andreas Skov Olsen.
According to reports in Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad, Spurs had sent a scout to monitor the progress of Skov Olsen while he was on duty with Kasper Hjulmand’s Denmark, who many billed a pre-tournament dark horse in the run-up to the in Qatar.

Though the Danes crashed out in the group stage while managing just a single goal in three matches in what was one of the most disappointing campaigns of any participating nation, Skov Olsen remains highly touted in both Danish and Belgian footballing circles after first breaking onto the scene at youth development experts FC Nordsjælland during the 2018-19 season when he smashed 22 goals in 36 Superliga appearances, prompting him to make a move to Serie A outfit Bologna.
Two-and-a-half years later, Skov Olsen would leave Emilia-Romagna after failing to make a real impression in Italy during a January move and has already restored previously-pooled prestige on the back of impressive performances for Blauw-Zwart over the last season-and-a-half to the tune of 14 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions, including 8 goals and 4 assists this term while playing a key role in the club’s third consecutive title run in 2021-22.
his goalscoring record at the international level is certainly credible as well after hitting 8 goals in 25 caps for De Rød-Hvide, with the Hillerød native capable of being deployed on either flank but thriving down the right-hand side.
Skov Olsen recently did comment in the summer that he was happy in Brugge, stating “There may still be so much interest, I’m not interested.” Thankfully for Spurs fans, the same report in Belgian media suggested that Tottenham was also tracking a handful of other possible targets, showing good faith by club management to add another long-term attacking piece to the jigsaw puzzle under Conte.
