A fresh insight into the injury timeline facing sidelined Tottenham Hotspur star Rodrigo Bentancur has been forthcoming on Thursday.
For those not aware, the name of midfielder Bentancur has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in north London across the day to date.
This comes after the Uruguayan, on the treatment table since all the way back in February owing to a Cruciate Ligament rupture, was spotted back in training alongside the rest of Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs squad.

Such footage has since given rise to hope amongst the Lilywhites faithful that Bentancur is closing on an imminent return to the pitch, set to add to an impressive crop of midfield talent also featuring the likes of Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, and James Maddison.
If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, however, then such supporters, for the time being at least, need not get their hopes up.
This comes amid confirmation that Bentancur remains some way off marking his competitive comeback.
Instead, Bentancur is understood to have joined his teammates during Thursday’s warm-up, before returning to his scheduled session of individual work.
The 26-year-old, as a result, remains on course for a November return to action.
Rodrigo Bentancur not quite back in training just yet. He joined in in the warm-up, as is the next step of his rehabilitation. After that, he went back to his individual work. Still not expected back until November https://t.co/vRKBYmp03j
