Amid a stellar stretch of recent form, the Reds welcomed West Ham United to Anfield, eyeing a 5th successive Premier League triumph.
And, when all was said and done, march on to another three-point haul is precisely what Jurgen Klopp’s troops managed.
After the aforementioned Salah’s opener was cancelled out by Jarrod Bowen late in the first-half, Liverpool dusted themselves down, thanking further strikes on the part of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota for an eventual 3-1 win.

As revealed in the aftermath of Sunday’s action, Salah, against West Ham, became ‘the first player in Premier League history to score or assist in 12 consecutive games twice’.
