A new bid from Arsenal for Moises Caicedo is expected later today, and is set to be rejected by the Seagulls [The Telegraph]

Caicedo himself has taken to Instagram to make a public transfer request, saying “I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful” [Moises Caicedo on Instagram]

However, this request will not affect Brighton’s stance on the player, with the Ecuadorian midfielder not for sale [The Athletic]

And Caicedo has taken the step of missing training on Saturday in a bid to push through a move to Arsenal, with Chelsea also thought to be interested [Fabrizio Romano]

Leeds are still hoping to finalise a deal for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie in the coming days, with personal terms already agreed. It remains unclear whether it will be a permanent deal or an initial loan move [CBS Sports]

Erik ten Hag has seemingly ruled out a late departure for Harry Maguire this January despite reported interest from West Ham, insisting that he still has a role to play this season [UTDreport]
