Arsenal’s title charge has collapsed after three draws in a row.

The latest one came vs Southampton on Friday and sees the Gunners just two points above Manchester City with two games in hand.

City also have a much better goal difference than Arsenal. As a result, Arsenal have to win the meeting between the pair on April 26 or City will go top of the division once they win their games in hand.

And given Man City have a much easier end to the campaign than Arsenal, that seems very likely.

However, since Pep Guardiola took charge of Manchester City, Arsenal’s record against the Sky Blues is dismal.

In his first season in charge, Guardiola beat and drew with Arsenal in the league and lost in the FA Cup.

Arsenal’s only victory came in July of 2020 when they beat Man City in the FA Cup.

The Gunners’ last win over Man City in the Premier League came on 21 December, 2015.
