Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino is ‘close’ to leaving the club this summer with clubs from around the continent showing interest in the young Englishman.
The teenager made his first team debut in the Carabao Cup in 2021, coming on and scoring in their 5-1 win over Sunderland before making his second and last club appearance in the FA Cup third round defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Patino then joined Blackpool this season on a season-long loan deal, but it was clear that the Gunners still had high hopes for the 19-year-old, triggering a contract extension in December that tied him to the club until 2025.

Despite this, it had previously been reported that the teenager was keen to seek out pastures new, with his demands for first team football and a desire not to go on loan again leaving a permanent departure the most likely option.
It is unclear just how much Arsenal will demand for the ex-Luton town midfielder, but FootballWorld report that the Englishman is ‘close’ to leaving the club amid interest from Spain and Germany.
It is added that the Gunners are set to include a buyback clause should the midfielder go on to realise his full potential.
However, they could be the end of the outgoings in the centre of the pitch, after Mikel Arteta ruled out Thomas Partey leaving north London this summer, despite the Ghanaian having been subject to strong interest from Juventus and Saudi Arabian sides.
Asked on whether Partey was part of his plans for the upcoming campaign, Arteta responded emphatically.
“Without a question of a doubt”, he told Football.London. “Thomas is a super important player for us and for me. I want him to be part of the team. That’s for sure.”
