Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has obliterated the record to become the fastest manager to 100 home wins in the Premier League, courtesy of a 4-1 hammering of Liverpool.
The Spaniard brought up his century of victories in style, with his side coming from a goal down to dominate a sorry Reds side and come out 4-1 winners courtesy of goals from Jack Grealish, Julian Alvarez, Kevin de Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan, in a game that could have finished with a much more one-sided scoreline in the second half.
And, as revealed by Opta, this took Guardiola to three figures for wins at the Etihad, in just 128 attempts, taking him straight to the top of the list.
He overtakes Arsenal great Arsene Wenger, who managed the achievement in 139 attempts with the north London side.

Having cut the gap at the top of the Premier League to 5 points, Manchester City are hot on the heels of leaders Arsenal as they look to lift their fifth Premier League in six seasons under Guardiola.
They face the Gunners, and former City assistant Mikel Arteta, later in the month in what will be a crucial showdown in the context of the top flight, and there is a feeling that whichever side comes out of the clash at the Etihad with all three points will take the crown come the end of May.
