Manchester United have agreed a massive 10-year, £900m deal with clothing brand Adidas, it has been reported, a deal which will become the largest ever sponsorship deal in the history of football.
The Red Devils have been partnered with Adidas since the 2015/16 season in a ten year deal worth £750m, but that has now been renewed at a much more lucrative £90m per season.
It follows record-breaking shirt sales ahead of the new summer, and becomes a new Premier League record for the most lucrative shirt deal by any club in the division’s history.

Manchester United Chief Executive Officer, Richard Arnold told Manchester United’s official website: “The relationship between Manchester United and adidas is one of the most iconic in world sport, forged through a shared commitment to style, flair and, most importantly, high performance.
“With its roots in the 1980s, our partnership has been reinvented over the past decade with some of the most innovative designs and technology in sportswear. We are now looking forward to refreshing this powerful partnership again through the remainder of this decade and into the 2030s.”
Adidas also partner with Arsenal, though their current deal with the north London side is worth a full £15m per year less than the Old Trafford side.
The news comes amid a period of instability for the club, with the Glazers still in discussions over selling the club after looking for new investment in November 2022, but as of yet no movement on any front.
