‘Playing against us’ – Liverpool fans take aim at trio of stars during Palace clash

Liverpool’ supporters have flooded to social media on Saturday evening, to make their frustrations clear with three members of the club’s squad.

Jurgen Klopp’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.

Fresh off an alarming Champions League drubbing at the hands of Real Madrid in midweek, the Reds have made the trip to Selhurst Park, aware that nothing but a swift return to winning ways will suffice up against Crystal Palace.

To this point in south London, however, Liverpool have found themselves frustrated by a stout Palace outfit.

In fact, it is the evening’s hosts who have carved out the better of the opportunities in front of goal, having seen both Marc Guehi and Jean-Philippe Mateta come close.

With 45 minutes on the clock, in turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of the Liverpool faithful being up in arms online.

None, however, have been more widely condemned than the trio of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, and Naby Keita, with just some of the backlash from across Twitter showcased below:
