Manchester United have denied reports of a ‘furious dressing room bust-up’ in the wake of their 3-1 defeat to Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils have endured a dreadful start to the season and a home defeat to Roberto De Zerbi’s side left them 13th in the Premier League, with just six points to their name after five games.
Put to the sword in emphatic fashion by the visitors, it has compounded the feeling of negativity which has dogged the club on and off the pitch, with Jadon Sancho not in the squad thanks to a spat with the manager and Antony on paid leave to deal with accusations of sexual violence.

Now, the feelings are reported to have boiled over in the changing room after the loss, with players pointing fingers at each other for the defeat.
As per the Sun, ‘club captain Bruno Fernandes confronted Scott McTominay while central defensive pair Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez were also involved in angry scenes at Old Trafford.’
However, the powers at Old Trafford have come out to deny this claim amid increased scrutiny on Erik ten Hag and reports that there are question marks over his transfer decision-making.
They have been handed a boost with four players closing in on a return from injury, but are still expected to be without Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw until after the October international break.
