Crystal Palace head coach Patrick Vieira has, on Friday, provided an update on the wellbeing of star man Wilfried Zaha.
Palace, of course, have been forced to navigate the last month sans the services of their talismanic wide-man.
This comes after Zaha picked up a hamstring injury, during the Eagles’ goalless draw with Newcastle United on January 21st.
The widespread understanding was that the Ivorian international was still some way off a return to full fitness, after boss Vieira confirmed last week that ‘Wilfried is still a couple of weeks away before he can start training with the team’.

In turn, it will no doubt come as a welcome surprise to all associated with the Londoners to hear that, in fact, Zaha could feature as soon as this weekend.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Patrick Vieira was asked for a fitness update on his squad, ahead of an imminent showdown with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
‘Wilfried is getting better and better. He had the last training session this morning, but we will have to wait for tomorrow to see the reaction.’
Fellow absentee Tyrick Mitchell, meanwhile, could also be involved, having recovered from an ankle injury.
