Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has, on Sunday night, made his frustrations with the club’s playing personnel clear.
The Red Devils, of course, have taken their place front and centre in the headlines across the evening to date.
Unfortunately for all associated with the club, though, this has come for altogether less than positive reasons.
United made the trip to Anfield a short time ago, hopeful of building on a fine recent stretch of form courtesy of victory over historic rivals Liverpool.
When all was said and done on Merseyside, though, to say that such efforts came up short would be something of an understatement.
Owing to a performance which can aptly be described as nothing short of a disaster, Manchester United were put to the sword by a whopping seven goals to nil.

Always one to demand the absolute maximum from his players, Ten Hag was drawn on the Red Devils’ Anfield drubbing a short time ago.
And the Dutchman showcased absolutely no hesitation in taking firm aim at his squad, for a performance described as completely and utterly ‘unprofessional’:
