Nathan Jones will take charge of his first game as Southampton boss on Saturday.

Jones is facing quite the task as Southampton are 18th in the league and have scored just 12 goals in 14 outings.

Roméo Lavia

Lavia had been out of action since he picked up a hamstring injury at the end of August vs Chelsea.

However, he is now closing in on a full return, coming off the bench in the Saints’ 4-1 loss to Newcastle last week.

Bella-Kotchap picked up a shoulder injury vs West Ham earlier this month.

He made his return to action in the loss to Newcastle.

Kyle Walker-Peters

Kyle Walker-Peters is unlikely to see a return until after the international break after picking up an injury vs Bournemouth.

Hasenhuttl ruled the right-back out of the Saints’ next few games when speaking ahead of Newcastle: “It’s gone from low to no. We have one week left and he is not training with us so I don’t think so.”

Tino Livramento

Livramento suffered a cruciate ligament rupture and remains out.

“Then we have only Tino as our only long-term injury,” Hasenhuttl said on October 27, suggesting the right-back will not be available any time soon.
