A friendly meeting between Brentford and Rangers on Monday saw Christian Eriksen and Amad Diallo take centre stage.
The two sides faced off in a behind-closed-doors clash at Auchenhowie – Rangers’ training ground – with proceedings having ultimately played out into a 2-2 stalemate.
Eriksen proved the architect in chief behind the game’s opener, teeing up fellow countryman Mathias Jorgensen’s header courtesy of a typically pinpoint corner.
The day’s hosts, though, soon turned the clash on its head, courtesy of a brace on the part of Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo.
Amad, who has seen his recent performances in the colours of the Gers heavily scrutinised, first levelled things up after getting on the end of a cross from Mateusz Zukowski, before putting Rangers in front after Kemar Roofe’s spot-kick was saved.

Bees bow imminent?
When, though, could Brentford’s supporters be afforded a first opportunity to watch their January midfield addition in first-team action?
Well, if his latest exploits on Monday, coupled with the comments of Thomas Frank last week are anything to go by, then the Dane’s debut could well be forthcoming this weekend.
This comes with the Bees’ boss having confirmed that all at the club are hopeful of having Eriksen, yet to take to the pitch in a competitive outing since his frightening cardiac arrest at the European Championships, available for selection to face Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
