Wolves are in talks with out-of-favour Paris Saint Germain attacker Pablo Sarabia as they look to bolster their ranks this January in order to avoid relegation this season.
Currently 19th, the midlands outfit have won just three times all season and have scored just 11 goals, two fewer than the next lowest-scoring side in the division.
To fix that, they have already recruited former Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui, while on the pitch they have added Brazilian attacker Matheus Cunha from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth up to £43m, with the 23-year-old joining in an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
They remain in talks with Atleti for his compatriot Felipe, with the 33-year-old defender surplus to requirements at the Wanda Metropolitano, but continue to hunt for attacking reinforcements in the meantime.
As a result, the Athletic report that they are in talks with PSG attacker Sarabia, who has managed just 3 starts in Ligue 1 this campaign but has largely been restricted to substitute appearances at the Parc des Princes.
The 30-year-old is down to the final 18 months of his contract in the French capital, and as a result is not expected to prove too expensive, and he has experience of working under Lopetegui, having played under him at both domestic and youth international football levels, including winning the U19 Championships in 2011.
