- Out: Saša Kalajdžić, Chiquinho, Rúben Neves (red card), Jonny (red card)
- Doubt: Matheus Nunes, Boubacar Traoré
Julen Lopetegui’s Wolves outfit has cause to celebrate of late after their fantastic 1-0 win against Chelsea last weekend in front of home support and with four points in their last six, will be looking to use that win as a springboard to push further up the table at the business end of the 2022-23 Premier League season.
Brentford stands in their way at the weekend, and despite how far along they have come under Thomas Frank, their recent skid which has seen them fail to win across any of their last four league fixtures puts the Bees in Lopetegui’s firing line at the Molineux.
The Spanish manager has a number of key absentees for the task at hand, however, with both Rúben Neves and Jonny serving red card suspensions, while Saša Kalajdžić and Chiquinho are still ruled out via injury and unavailable. Matheus Nunes is a doubt but is slated to recover in time and if he does, will certainly feature in the XI, while Boubacar Traoré faces a similar assessment but it is unclear what his involvement – if any – will be.
